New at Edgecase: Cloud Native Security Track
Edgecase 2026 gets a new track this year: the Cloud Native Security Track, built together with partner Sysdig. It's aimed specifically at platform engineers, DevOps teams, and infrastructure leads. The angle throughout: security as part of your engineering reality, not a separate discipline bolted on afterward.

The track opens on the main stage with a keynote from Shantanu Gattani, SVP Product at Sysdig, on how AI coding agents are reshaping the way security teams work, and why the dashboard is no longer the center of that story.

A panel with Shantanu Gattani (Sysdig) and engineering/security leads from Sogeti and Saxo Bank. Platform teams didn't apply for the job, but they've got it anyway: patching base images, running admission controllers, reviewing what AI agents commit. The panel compares notes on how that shift is actually going.
Machine-Speed Attack, Machine-Speed Defense
With Marcel Claassen (Sysdig). Marcel closes the track by replaying a live attack against a real cluster, with Falco-powered detection responding in real time — the same engine behind runtime detection at more than 9,000 organizations.
