Robust infrastructure for European recreation ambitions
With an advanced automation system, EveryLeisure is revolutionizing the recreation industry, both in the Netherlands and soon throughout Europe. EveryLeisure's automation solutions, such as reservation systems, access control, and energy-saving systems for vacation homes, save the Dutch recreation industry significant time and costs. These systems run on TrueFullstaq's high-performance infrastructure.
Automation for holiday parks
EveryLeisure provides automation for holiday parks in the broadest sense of the word, both hardware and software. “With this automation, our customers save staff time, which they can reinvest in personal contact at the park,” says EveryLeisure Commercial Manager Martin de Vries. “We deliver a comprehensive package including websites, reservation systems, CRM, customer portals, point-of-sale systems, and digital signage. And we also provide hardware such as barrier gates with license plate recognition, energy-saving solutions, and access control for vacation homes.”
Martin adds: “Because of this breadth, we're the only all-in-one solution provider in the Netherlands, possibly even in Europe. It's precisely this combination of hardware and software that sets us apart. Our core business is holiday parks, but we can easily supply to other sectors as well, such as marinas, hotels, and housing facilities.”
Infrastructure as the backbone of automation
“For our software, we're currently working with Laravel; for our new website, we're working with NextJS. We develop much of the hardware ourselves, but we purchase items like barrier gates and license plate recognition cameras. We develop our own card reader systems and energy-saving systems. That software is fully integrated into the EveryLeisure environment. For our customers, this means they can manage their park in one office system, without having to switch between multiple systems or manually transfer data,” says Martin. “For all these systems, infrastructure and a good internet connection are the backbone. We have servers at TrueFullstaq for our databases, websites, and APIs. Without this, we couldn't deliver our services.”
Martin continues: “Before we came to TrueFullstaq, we had many issues with the uptime of our digital systems. Sometimes part of our hosting would fail, and our system would go down. You don’t want that in the middle of the holiday period, from April to October! TrueFullstaq promised good performance and uptime. TrueFullstaq has always kept that promise.”
Alongside a complete interface restyling in 2022, TrueFullstaq engineers also upgraded servers. Martin explains: “In the past, we offered too many custom websites, whereas nowadays, we standardize them. That puts less pressure on servers. Engineers at TrueFullstaq helped us think this through. We experience the collaboration as very pleasant. Agreements are honored, the TrueFullstaq team thinks along with us effectively and respond quickly. These are positive elements in a partnership.”
“A good example of this collaboration is how TrueFullstaq helps us during peak traffic moments on the holiday parks' websites,” says Martin. “Every year, when vacationers start searching for and booking their holidays en masse, there's a huge increase in website traffic. This peak load is always quickly and efficiently absorbed by scaling the infrastructure at TrueFullstaq. So, our systems continue to run smoothly, and customers can complete their bookings without issues.”
Ambition: conquer Europe!
“Our ambition is to grow further across Europe, starting with Germany in the third quarter of 2024,” says Martin. “EveryLeisure is known as the most innovative software company in the Dutch recreation industry. We're preparing our systems so that the software can handle this growth. It's a challenge: we offer a broad package, which means there are many places where code needs to be adapted for internationalization. But it's a great challenge to conquer Europe together with TrueFullstaq!"
